Fourth, bare wood furniture is more long-lasting. That's because, at the end of the day, all that pressboard really isn't terribly rigid. All wood furniture is as rugged and long-lasting as it's appealing.

Fifth, bare wood furniture gets better with age. With proper care at its finishing, you can create an heirloom piece that will possibly serve for generations. Majority of the shop purchased furniture simply becomes "used furniture" after 3-5 years. Huge difference.
